Jenni

I met Jenni at Stansted Airport. I was flying off to Brittany and was browsing in the Duty Free Shop where she works in customer service. She looked fab, more so when she told me she was in her mid 70's! When my husband asked her the secret of her great complexion she said: 'Soap and a flannel'. It reminded me of what Helen Mirren allegedly said about moisturiser, that it: 'probably does f--- all'

Tanya

With extensive experience of working within the Voluntary sector and NHS, as well as a Chief Executive role in her last organisation Tanya took the entreprenuerial leap of faith. She now runs Tanya Curry Consulting. She develops senior leaders, managing and transforming organisational cultures to strategically develop charities, services and teams.

Jo

Jo is a brilliant example of a BoomBoss!  Following a career at EY she has run a very successful London-based HR and Development technology company. She provides leading-edge HR and related technologies to companies across the UK and worldwide. She designs and develop systems which drive employee and corporate performance enabling her clients to achieve sustained employee engagement and superior organisational performance.

Elaine
For the last 10 years Elaine has been running a luxury longere to discerning guests in Languedic, Brittany.  She took a delipidated building and through sheer hard work and determination turned it into a secret rural hideaway.  She encapuslates the BoomBoss mentality - a no BS action taker, who has taken her skills and experience and turned them into a thriving business.
Carolyn

As a single Mum with two teenage children Carolyn uses her extensive HR knowledge in a role which includes supporting offices across the world.  She successfully juggles her globe trotting with her family commitments.

Clare

With two grown up children and two grandchildren, Clare has achieved that ideal balance of work and play.  She has taken her previous experience in retail and poured this into her business interests which include a property portfolio and home furnishings.
Hazel

Once Hazel's son had grown up she and her husband took a leap of faith and moved to France.  With no knowledge of the country and not speaking French she managed to refurbish a beautiful four storey town house, learn French and make a new life.

Kim
A true inspiration. Kim battled bravely against lung cancer despite a terminal diagnosis in 2016.  She sadly passed away in May 2017.  She was full of life, and even when very ill, made the most of every day with humour, positivity and determination. To honour Kim's wonderful memory I've set up the K.I.M. programme which is free for any woman who has previously suffered from cancer.  Please click below.
Lisa

A serial entrepreneur, Lisa used her extensive equestrian experience and expertise to run a saddlery business, before setting up a successful ladies fashion boutique, aimed at the more mature market.

Belinda
Belinda has shown huge determination and commitment running her own thriving restaurant in a coastal area.  Taking her previous skills and expertise she took this business to another level and is a great role model for any woman wanting to enter the hospitality industry in later life.

Mette
When she started The Great Gift Company in the depth of the recession, her friends, family and colleagues were divided as to whether she was brilliantly clever or certifiably insane!  As far as she was concerned, her passion for business combined with a genuine love of retail and finding the perfect gift was reason enough and she has never once looked back!
